fbpx FAQ - In Visible Talks – A Design Conference

you’ve got questions.
We’ve got answers

Was the 2021 conference virtual or in-person?
In/Visible Talks took our annual conference virtual in light of the current pandemic to ensure the safety of our community. Rest assured, we worked hard to make sure the experience was as close to what you would expect from an in-person INVT event. The day was full of inspiring talks, opportunities to network, and special surprises along the way.

Immediately after purchasing a ticket, you will receive a link and instructions explaining how to access the virtual conference. All you need is a computer, WiFi, a comfortable space, and a curious mind.
Should I still attend In/Visible Talks after the live conference?
Yes. We want you to experience all that #INVT21 had to offer. Our goal is to continue the multidisciplinary conversation about what really goes on inside the creative process and to strengthen the creative community through the sharing of our stories. You will learn, find inspiration, and be motivated to Re:Design the future and your own creative process.
How can my company partner with In/Visible Talks?
In/Visible partners with like-minded creative organizations in many ways, including Salon events and programming throughout the calendar year. We also welcome partnership discussions focused on the conference which takes place in January. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact our team at info@invisibletalks.com.
Can I cancel or transfer my tickets?
Cancellations and refund requests will only be accepted within 1 hour of the time that the ticket was purchased. All cancellation requests must be made via email to info@invisibletalks.com. Tickets are non-transferable. We reserve the right to change the above policy at any time without prior notice.
Can I submit a talk or speaker idea for next year?
In/Visible Talks are original content and focused on the creative process. Our audience works in more than one medium and your talk should appeal to a diverse, multidisciplinary audience.

If you are interested in speaking, please complete the Speaker Submission Form here. And if you're wondering what makes a good speaker, check out our article on 99U. We review submissions on a rolling basis and typically finalize our lineup by September of each year. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot respond to all submissions but will do our best to get back to you.
How can I volunteer?
We welcome motivated volunteers to help us make our events and yearly programming happen. Please email us at info@invisibletalks.com if you are interested.
I purchased a ticket. Now how do I access the event?
After you purchase your ticket, you will receive an email from hey@vito.community with the subject line: "Your access to In/Visible Talks 2021". This will contain your unique access link and ask you to confirm your participation. Please check your spam if you do not receive this email. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, you may contact vicky@tito.io and CC info@invisibletalks.com for help.
