Will the 2021 conference be virtual or in-person?
In/Visible Talks is taking our annual conference virtual in light of the current pandemic to ensure the safety of our community. Rest assured, we're working hard to make sure the experience is as close to what you would expect from an in-person INVT event. The day will be full of inspiring talks, opportunities to network, and special surprises along the way.

A week before the event, you will receive a link and instructions explaining how to access the virtual conference. All you need is a computer, WiFi, a comfortable space, and a curious mind.
Should I attend In/Visible Talks?
Yes. We want you to join us. Our goal is to have a multidisciplinary conversation about what really goes on inside the creative process and to strengthen the creative community through the sharing our stories.

What happens on the virtual stage is an important part of the day, but an equally important part is our audience. We welcome diverse perspectives, attendees from various stages in their careers and encourage everyone to share their knowledge openly.
How can my company partner with In/Visible Talks?
In/Visible partners with like-minded creative organizations in many ways, including Salon events and programming throughout the calendar year. We also welcome partnership discussions focused on the conference which takes place in January. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact our team at info@invisibletalks.com.
Can I cancel or transfer my tickets?
All cancellation requests must be made in writing. Registrations canceled prior to December 16, 2020 will be refunded. A processing fee of $20 per ticket will apply to all refunds. Registrations may be transferred to someone else until December 16, 2020. All transfer requests must be made in writing. We reserve the right to change the above policy at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to cancel the event, and if this occurs, we shall refund the total fees paid.
Can I purchase my ticket at the last minute?
Yes, tickets will be available until 11:59 pm (PST) on January 13, 2021. Note: the ticket price will be higher for any last minute purchases, starting January 7, 2021.
Can I submit a talk or speaker idea?
In/Visible Talks are original content and focused on the creative process. Our audience works in more than one medium and your talk should appeal to a diverse, multidisciplinary audience.

If you are interested in speaking, please complete the Speaker Submission Form here. And if you're wondering what makes a good speaker, check out our article on 99U. We review submissions on a rolling basis and typically finalize our lineup by September of each year. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot respond to all submissions but will do our best to get back to you.
Is there student pricing?
The answer is yes, if you’re a student get in touch with info@invisibletalks.com with proof of enrollment and we will offer you a hefty student discount.
How can I volunteer?
We welcome motivated volunteers to help us make our events happen. But remember, this is not just a way to get a free ticket; you’ll be working hard! Please email us at info@invisibletalks.com if you are interested.
